Scottish Wedding Pipers'
Background

If you’re looking for a premier Scottish piper, look no further than Scottish Wedding Pipers. We can meet your needs, whether you want a single piper or a pipe band. If you are located in England, Ireland, Europe or overseas, it's possible for us to provide entertainment for you as well. Recently, we've piped at weddings and major events throughout Europe - as well as the USA and beyond.

Enlisting a piper to play the Highland bagpipes can make any event even more special. Our pipers are both professional and versatile. They can play either solo, in duets or quartets or as a full pipe band. All have been expertly trained and carefully selected - so your wedding or special event is guaranteed to be remembered for all the right reasons.

We primarily specialise in providing quality pipers for weddings. However, we also are regularly hired for birthdays, private functions, funerals, anniversaries, corporate events or any other special occasion that needs the 'lilting lift' that only bagpipe music can bring.

Our selection process is deliberately intensive - so you get the very best in piping entertainment. All of our musicians have proved themselves as premier bandsmen or as top pro solo pipers. Besides winning high accolades in the piping world, our pipers are also experienced at performing at many venues and events like the World Pipe Band Championships - as well as being regulars on radio and TV.

Due to our recruitment process, we offer you only the most disciplined, professional pipers. All of our pipers appear in one of two piper's uniforms, depending on your requirements and preferences. The full ceremonial dress, consists of a kilt, horse hair sporran, a tunic, spats and diced hose, a full plaid with Cairngorm brooch and a feather bonnet. A piper is truly a spectacular sight that will turn heads wherever he appears when in full ceremonial dress. The other option is a little less formal and more modern. Consisting of a kilt, a shirt and tie, an Argyll jacket, a sporran and brogues. The choice of pipers uniform is a personal one - and ultimately we'll leave that choice to you.

When you hire Scottish Wedding Pipers, you are guaranteed that you will be dealing with trained pipers. Unless you select your Scottish pipers carerfully, there is every possibility that you could end up with an inferior musician. Watch out for bargain basement pipers – many are poorly trained, perform irregularly and are poorly dressed. Our advice to you is don’t look around for the least expensive bagpiper. Unless of course you want to end up with a real amateur!  Remember that poor musicians reflect poorly on your event and will frequently damage the reputation of those hosting it. Be sure and check the background of your piper, or better still, try to hear them playing at a local event or listen to the tracks they've recorded.

With decades of experience behind them, our pipers are well rehearsed with a large repertoire. They are flexible and skilled, and receive regular compliments on their professionalism and musical abilities. If you'd like to hear us play 'live' before you book or speak to previous clients who have booked us - we can arrange this for you.

Our reputation is built on providing a top class service at a reasonable fee. If your scheduled piper is ill for any reason on the day of your event, (it does happen very occasionally), you don’t want to have to worry that your event is ruined. Scottish Wedding Pipers always have a team of great pipers who are 'on call' to assist in such instances. Rest assured that your event will continue as planned - without a single beat being missed!

Creating the perfect atmosphere and ensuring that great piping music is delivered on the day is our ultimate goal. Amongst quality pipers, personal presentation is as important as great playing and we guarantee that you'll receive both from Scottish Wedding Pipers.
